Our actions and initiatives

The association’s projects are structured around three major areas that define our commitment.
These ambitious and meaningful projects will be rolled out throughout the year to achieve our objectives and strengthen the impact of our association.

SUPPORT FOR SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS

We work closely with the sports movement to:

Raise awareness of the importance of inclusion and offer professional support for the implementation of action plans.
Co-develop innovative training programs, such as interactive modules that include role models or diversity-focused activities.
Set up a monitoring system via the “Lab,” a tool inspired by Pride House, to track developments in LGBTIQ+ issues in sport.

Support for professional/high-level athletes

We aim to support LGBTIQ+ athletes by:

Creating a network of athletes committed to inclusion.
Offering concrete solutions such as legal assistance, communication training, or connections with partners.
Leading an active and supportive community of committed athletes.

Support for victims of LGBTIQ+phobia in sport

We want to build a Fier-Play network dedicated to supporting victims by:

Developing a network of experts in health, law, and coaching to guide victims and help them follow up on their cases.
Identify role models to inspire and support victims in their return to sports.

Supporting inclusion with Nike

As part of its partnership with Nike, Fier-Play has launched an audit and support program for sports clubs and organizations.

The goal: to help organizations implement concrete action plans to better welcome LGBTIQ+ youth and promote a respectful environment for all licensees.

This program operates on several levels:

Working with leaders to adapt governance and regulations
With coaches through inclusive reception training
Working with young people through discussion and awareness-raising sessions

This project aims to combat dropout rates in sports, improve the experience of members, and make clubs places of inclusion and well-being.
